CTE has substantial expertise in Universities, hospitals, airports and other HVAC Chiller and Light Industrial Applications. These are applications that usually have very little to no space to increase capacity for future load, or energy savings by maximizing chiller efficiency from reduced cold water temperature. Maximizing cooling capacity in tight congested spaces and/or roof top site conditions is a thermal engineering challenge combined with a solid or louvered enclosure wall to hide the cooling towers and you have a recipe for poor thermal performance. The design of the cooling tower must define and include these influences in the beginning before any capacity increase can be studied. These influences are often overlooked in a competitive design environment. CTE has significant expertise in maximizing thermal capacity in very tight site conditions while bringing creativity to solutions for increasing the capacity.
